Duncan heads up the transaction team at Evolution Capital. A chartered accountant and highly experienced corporate financier, Duncan has worked on more than 500 transactions over the course of two decades, advising on deals worth a combined £5bn.
He has brought a wealth of knowledge to the team thanks to his thorough approach, technical methodologies in uncovering intrinsic value and deep understanding of the TMT sector. Prior to joining Evolution Capital, Duncan spent almost 10 years at Moore Stephens LLP, which has since merged with BDO, where he was a partner in the specialist corporate finance division in London. He has advised on M&A;, corporate disposals, equity and debt fund raising and IPOs for clients ranging from SME businesses to major global institutions and corporations.
Duncan's transaction highlights include: advising on numerous high profile transactions in the TMT sector with businesses such as Pearson Group, Yell Group and Talent Television; advising on a London Stock Exchange AIM to Main Market move and international merger of what would shortly became a £1 billion market-capitalisation FTSE 100 global company; and advising on private equity-backed transactions on the buy-side with All3 Media and sell-side with a global managed services group.
