A Chartered Accountant, Chris brings experience across venture-backed technology businesses and private equity-owned groups. He has held senior finance leadership roles including Head of Finance at Sowga and Pareto FM, and Finance Director at Playmint, where he led teams, supported fundraising activity and delivered disciplined budgeting and financial modelling to support strategic growth.
Chris is recognised for combining analytical precision with a calm, pragmatic leadership style. He builds strong relationships across teams and with external stakeholders, ensuring financial insight is accessible, actionable and aligned with wider business priorities. His ability to identify structural inefficiencies and implement practical, technology-enabled solutions has consistently enhanced visibility, control and decision-making.

Debbie is a Corporate Finance professional with twenty years experience of research and M&A; programme management and client service resourcing.
Prior to joining Evolution Capital, she spent 10 years with the Xerox Corporation where she held senior roles in marketing and service delivery. At Evolution Capital she has created and implemented M&A; programmes for clients that have originated deals with a value of over £200m. In her current role, Debbie is responsible for Human Resources, attracting talent to our growing team and creating an environment for people to develop and achieve their full potential.
Debbie continues to provide specialist research and M&A; support for some of our major and long standing clients. Additionally, Debbie is responsible for our national networking programme where she has attracted over 2000 IT & Telecommunications business owners since the programme was launched in 2005.

Prior to joining EC, Sam spent the previous eight years within PwC’s Transaction Services team conducting financial due diligence investigations and advising clients in Technology and Fintech sectors. Sam has advised on numerous high profile technology transactions with a combined value in excess of £5 billion including technology companies such as Wefox, Toluna and Harris Interactive.
Since joining Evolution Capital, Sam has led multiple transactions achieving truly outstanding outcomes for our clients.Additionally, leveraging his prior experience at PwC he has meticulously redesigned our “Buy Side” service strategy and is positioned to launch a new suite of services in FY23/24. Our new strategy will provide a greater relevance and higher levels of analysis, presentation and advice for management teams of mid-market IT consolidators and investment houses.
In addition to continuing ‘in our search of transactional excellence’ and developing‘best in class’ sector services alongside his fellow and long-standing company director Duncan Gregory, Sam will assume pro-active responsibility for budgetary planning and resourcing,and specifically with “buy side” service development and delivery. In this capacity, he will report directly to the board.
Charlie is an ACA qualified Chartered Accountant and joins the Evolution Capital transaction team as Transaction Executive, to provide advice to both ‘buy-side’ and ‘sell-side’ clients.
Prior to joining the Evolution Capital team, Charlie achieved ‘Top Performer’ in each year whilst at PwC, and his experience working within the IT, Tech and Telecoms space enables him to provide deep understanding of business models and valuation methods.
Charlie’s pragmatic and logical approach enables him to work meticulously across multiple projects, with particular focus on developing M&A propositions and strategic advice, through his financial and operational analysis.
Having competed in the National Hockey League and as a member of various sporting societies around the South Coast, Charlie’s result-driven, competitive, and strategic nature adds to the Evolution Capital team and brings a cooperative and enigmatic energy to the transaction team.
Brad is an ICAEW ACA Chartered Accountant, and joins the EC transaction team following his time at Grant Thornton. Having spent 5 years at the firm, Brad’s experience includes a wide sector coverage with a refined focus on the telecommunications industry, serving mid-market private equity-backed and trade clients, cross-border M&A transactions, as well as international groups with revenues exceeding £100m.
Throughout his career, Brad has refined his skills in financial modelling interrogation and stress-testing, especially in areas of impairment testing and going concern assessments. At Evolution Capital, he plays a vital role in the sell-side team, leveraging his audit, sector, and transaction expertise to deliver remarkable results for clients.
